The Fog - A Magical Place

7/4/2017

Happy 4th of July!  Day 4 of PBHOT62 is going to be a magical one!

As a kid, traveling to the US was always a magical time whether it be to Disney’s magical kingdom, or to Seattle to play basketball or to New York to marvel at the Statue of Liberty.  Today I went on hunt for someplace magical to read The Fog by Kyo Maclear, illustrated by Kenard Pak.

I ended up going for a drive with my husband and his three cousins. The weather was perfect and the singing stellar. Although the three kiddos cringed a bit when we started signing a love song to each other complete with action. It was magical! If you feel sorry for them. Don't! We stopped for ice cream.

Hello, I'm Rena! I'm a writer, poet and librarian.

I'm on the way...to somewhere (a book contract, a delicious taco, a room full of screaming kids? Life is never dull).

I post about the creative life (the good and the bad), books and life in between the cracks and crevices.
