I first read Josh's work while studying his delicious debut book Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast as part of the Debut Picture Book Study Group. I have been hooked ever since to his unique brand of funny and fresh. Take it away Josh!
My favorite place to read is in my wife's comfy chair. It's the best place to read in the house, and everyone always fights over who gets it (unfortunately, I rarely do).
As a child, my favorite place to read was bed. I remember the day in 2nd grade when I got a special reading lamp with the bendable arm (clearly I love those bendable lamps) - it was tacit permission from my parents to stay up past my bedtime...
Looks comfy! Thanks Josh for joining us. Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast (or the sequel The Case of the Stinky Cheese) will be up for grabs at the end of this challenge for those that stay tuned to reading all summer long!
Next week we will joined by Penny Parker Klostermann along with a new fabulous list of places to read. Happy reading!
