Week 3 - PBHOT62 - Welcome Penny Parker Klostermann

7/15/2017

Week three is here! I'm thrilled to have Penny joining us today. Poetry is my first love and I've always admired writers that write in rhyme (especially when they do it as well as Penny does!). Take it away Penny!

I sit on this couch when reading outside and in this chair when reading inside. I like sitting on the couch because looks out on my yard where birds and squirrels play and are probably weaving their own stories. I like sitting by the fireplace because it’s cozy and perfect for enjoying a good story. As a child I read in bed. I was a very active child who liked playing outside with my three sisters so it was perfect to read in bed after things settled down.

Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for joining us Penny. THERE WAS AN OLD DRAGON WHO SWALLOWED A KNIGHT will be up for grabs at the end of this challenge (or a per-order copy of A COOKED-UP FAIRY TALE). Please see this week's reading list below. And leave some love for Penny in the comments below. Happy reading!

Penny Parker Klostermann is the author of There Was an Old Dragon Who Swallowed a Knight and the upcoming, A Cooked-Up Fairy Tale, (Sept. 5, 2017). She loves all kinds of books, but especially loves very silly picture books that make her laugh. She has been known to hug her favorite picture books and seriously hopes that someday her books will gain huggable status too. Penny grew up in Colorado and now lives in Abilene, Texas—the Storybook Capital of Texas!
